Part 2 - Closing the Chapter: Healing Through Loss Worksheet

A Journey of Healing and Growth

As we approach the end of another year, it’s natural to pause and reflect on the lessons we've learned, the challenges we've faced, and the personal growth we've experienced. In my previous journal prompts, I encouraged you to explore what you've learned throughout the year and how you can sit with your feelings during times of loss.

Now, as we prepare for the year ahead, I invite you to dive even deeper. This next prompt and accompanying worksheet will help you reflect on any losses you've encountered, embrace the silence that often comes with them, and begin the vital work of healing.

Reflecting on 2024 and Looking Toward 2025

As you reflect on the challenges, victories, and losses of 2024, take a moment to consider how they’ve shaped you.

  • What is one lesson or experience from this year that you want to carry with you into 2025?
  • What is one thing from this year that you’re ready to leave behind?
  • What is one thing you now want to achieve in 2025, and how do the lessons and experiences of 2024 relate to this goal?

Leaning Into the Silence: Healing Through Loss Worksheet

Building on your reflections, this worksheet offers an opportunity to go deeper into your emotional journey. It’s designed to help you process losses or absences, find meaning in the silence they leave behind, and take intentional steps toward healing and renewal.

Remember: Emptiness is often the perfect foundation for new beginnings. You may not be able to replace what is lost but the body and mind have a remarkable way of healing.  The human journey holds infinite potential, and your heart possesses an endless capacity to love.

Happy Holidays! Happy Healing!! I wish you well on your journey. 💛
